Well, you may want a quick fix, but experts believe that not the new fancy diet craze is the key to losing weight.
According to Western Baptist Hospital dietitian Laura King, the best way to lose weight still is mere moderation with a balanced diet. Diet in this case simply means all that which we eat, not some, while carrying on physical activity.
Laura King said: “There are special diets like the Atkins diet in which you just about eliminate all your carbohydrate intake. These do work, but they aren’t always the best for you. With the Atkins, it’s hard on your kidneys because of the high protein content of what you eat. And after you get off the special diet, your pounds can come back quicker than they went away.”
