Exercise Aids Some Postmenopausal Symptoms

Hot Flashes

A study carried out by Deborah B. Nelson, a professor of public health and obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University in Philadelphia, suggest that while exercise may not be a cure for hot flashes, but it does help postmenopausal women cope with stress, anxiety and depression.

However she added: “we didn’t find a relationship between physical activity and hot flashes.” We all know that exercising is good for our overall physical and mental well being, so regardless of the study we should be exercising regularly.
