Childhood Cancer

A new study reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), indicate that childhood cancer rate are on the rise, particularly in the Northeast. Its report showed that though cancer affects about 166 out of every million children in the U.S., in the Northeast, the number is higher at 179 cases per million children.

In the South, the childhood cancer rates were 159 cases per million, and in the Midwest and West were 166 cases per million and 165 per million, respectively.
