We all know that sometimes, we just need a little divine intervention, especially when we are sick. A new survey now reveals what most Americans already know.

Dr. Lenworth Jacobs, a University of Connecticut surgery professor and trauma chief at Hartford Hospital, the lead author and his colleagues, reports that among many Americans, there is widespread belief that divine intervention can revive dying patients. Basically, God could reverse a hopeless outcome, and give more hope than doctors could.
